Joe was amazing. I am a first time buyer and he made it so easy for me. Every question I had for him, he had an answer for. He was very quick with his replies and his communication was brilliant in keeping me up to date with the rates. He is very approachable and was very happy to come and meet me face to face rather than explain everything on the phone.

Joe was fantastic from start to finish, nothing was ever too much for him to do, the mortgage was complicated process but Joe just got on with it, he's been with us every step of the way and nothing is ever any hassle for him!! Colin has been absolutely brilliant throughout the process of my partner and I buying our first home. We honestly can't thank him enough!

We had little knowledge when it came to mortgages and didn't know what to expect when buying our first home. Colin made us feel at ease and educated us before making any decisions.

We came up against a few challenges along the way but he dealt with these efficiently and kept us informed. Having Colin's help throughout, really took a lot of the pressure off. He was always on hand if we needed anything at all, even if that was just reassurance.

Having to re-mortgage one property and purchase another as a first time buyer, my main concern was trying to understand the processes and people at play, and try to mitigate risk and cost as much as feasibly possible. Despite these worries, both of my applications were successful but I still have absolutely no idea of any of the processes involved in either mortgaging or re-mortgaging, and I care not a jot. As a misanthrope, I was gladdened to have to only deal with one (very competent) person – Colin Wallace, so I will keep the superlatives to a minimum. 

Colin is a gregarious man, utterly professional and punctilious to a fault. Not overly loquacious (thankfully), Colin has a proclivity of dissecting complex processes into easily understandable parts, which allowed me to make choices efficiently and comfortably. These qualities gave me the utmost confidence, not only in the choices I made, but in Colin too. A good, honest man, I would recommend employing the services of his company to anyone, especially those who do not care to be stressed-out unnecessarily. Thanking you, 

Allen is the guy if you have a challenge.

Last year we contacted Allen with regards to getting a mortgage, the sale didn't end up going through but it still became apparent that there would be a few 'hurdles' to overcome when we did want to proceed with a mortgage application. This year our search for a house continued, after 2 estate agents looked into the mortgage for us we were given a straight no within an hour without them even digging a little deeper (the estate agents in question advised that they prefer you to use their mortgage providers to make the process 'easier')

Allen has been there from start to finish with no stone left unturned.

I would recommend Allen to absolutely anyone. If there is a mortgage advisor that can help with a difficult case it is definitely him!

During these uncertain times, for the last couple of months, Colin has provided a reliable, supportive service and become part of the family! 

He educated us on finance, mortgages, risk and held our hands (albeit virtually) throughout the purchase of our first home. He worked to our crazy schedule and turned things round fast! I found my first home in May 2020 and throughout the whole process, Colin has been so lovely to work with and has continuously gone above and beyond what you would usually expect.

We decided to get some advice from Wallace Home Finance about what kind of position we would be in as first time buyers earlier on in the year. Fast forward a few weeks and we decided to put an offer in for our first home, soon to realise that we might’ve not been in such a good position as we thought; though we were heart set and put every last penny we had together for the deposit.

Hiring Colin Wallace for independent mortgage advice was the best decision we ever made! This man went above and beyond for us for 2 years! We had all sorts of non starters and issues, I'm sure anyone else would have given up on us, but Colin has become a close friend now. He's a mortgage wizard! He found us so much more money than we thought we had and we have now finally moved into our absolute dream home with a huge 0.6acre garden.

We had a very complicated situation where Colin found us a great rate for both a Residential Mortgage and a Let To But Mortgage. What this man doesn't know about mortgages, isn't worth knowing.

If we ever thought we'd found 'the one' Colin would respond to our emails / texts weekday or weekend, day or night.

There is nothing more Colin could have done for us, amazing finance advisor and now, a good friend for life. Worth every penny and more!

Allen made the whole mortgage process so simple! Extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our queries really quickly, kept on top of everything throughout and provided us with constant updates. Allen even managed to get us a cheaper deal 5 times while we were waiting for the house purchase to go through which was amazing.

I engaged Allen Cooper late last year to assess whether I had adequate health protection to cover my and my family's needs. And managed to get me cheaper house insurance as well. My house insurance went through the roof due to the flood claim up to £600 quid looks like she’s got it down to £350

We contacted Colin on the recommendation of a colleague. Even before we had started house hunting he explained the process fully as this is our first home. Once we had found our house, he put the wheels into motion to find the best mortgage lender and life insurance policies available. He also arranged a solicitor who could liaise with him directly so we knew things would happen behind the scenes. During covid and lockdown, we weren’t able to meet in person but zoom meetings into the evenings and around our work schedules made life easy.

Icing on the cake was the day we moved in, Colin appeared on our doorstep with a bottle of fizz. Such a lovely gesture and completely unexpected.
